Social Studies Higher Education Consortium ("The WCSS Professors' Group")

The Higher Education Consortium is comprised of stakeholders who are associated with Social Studies in Higher Education. It includes teacher education faculty, disciplinary professors, members of the Department of Public Instruction, Wisconsin Historical Society staff, and individuals from other social studies related interest groups. This organization addresses issues relevant to teaching, research, licensure, teacher preparation, dissemination of disciplinary and pedagogical knowledge, public policy, and service affecting social studies education in the state of Wisconsin.
